Well, this not being able to sleep it beginning toget old But anyway IT'S FRIDAY I guess it's just a mental thing for me, cause nothing is special about Fridays anymore, I mean I work on Saturdays, so I have to get up, I don't have a dress code, so Casual Friday no longer applies, we are just old boring people, and weekends are just another couple of days, b ut I still get excited on Fridays!

We finally closed our loan thingy and I got to see our new building for the first time yesterday, the inside of it anyway, and renovations start this morning. I have never been through anything so stressful, it was like our whole lives were on hold. Thank goodness it's over.

Well, I've just finished off ole Alvin's coffee, sorry I didn't save yall any. I'm on my way to get my BMI done. don't know why I'm so interested in this, but I am.

Get a good ski in yesterday, and man oh man, Im out of shape!!!! I thought with the weights Id been doing and all the walking Ive put in, that it wouldnt be so bad! Well I was wrong!! I got half way around the park, and (which took 30 min) thought, Im not going to make it the rest of the way, and cut across the park and made a bee line to my truck....this took me 20 more min, since I had to cut fresh trail. My lungs, heart, legs and arms got a very good workout yesterday. Well that was the point wasnt it?!?! So Im out again tomorrow. Today is a weight day, so Ive gotten off lucky

Still trying to pick out paint for the store.....hubby and I cant agree, so we are going to keep looking.

Not much else happening.......its cold out there, so bundle up.

Good morning!

I L-O-V-E Fridays! Monday is an inservice day, so we won't have any kids. I will get to conference with my counterparts at the high school. I always like to do that.

This morning I walked in the teacher's lounge and someone had stopped at the town bakery and brought cream horns and cream cressants to school. You haven't tasted heaven until you've tasted cream horns from this shop. I passed them by. The lady who had brought them (she's a sweetie, bless her heart) said, "Can't you take just a taste?" I told her I couldn't and that someday I would probably forgive her for bringing them. LOL. Thank goodness the next time I walked through, they had all been eaten.
It felt good to be able to resist, but my morning snack of pistachios was just somehow lacking in appeal this morning.

Well, time to think about enriching the minds of my students. Have a wonderful OP day all.

Hello,
Most of the schools here are closed because of the cold. I think it is a little rediculous since there is no snow, just cold. Some of the communities have used all of their snowdays and winter is barely a month old. our school is not closed, which is ok for me It is about 12 outside and a bit nipppy.
I had coffee with the girls, went to Macys and got a cashmere sweater for not a lot and lunch with a friend I don't see often enough.

Checking e mail and heading out to get the kids form school.

Karla great for you for doing that!! a gal brought in a box of doughnuts today and tried to give me some and they passed by me several times with my hand so nothe box i just stuffed my nose in the box and snuffed in the aroma and passed them on by. my mouth was sure watering!!! I almost drooled in the box but i sure wish i had that line in my head. I was to tired to think of any thing and it was so hard to pass them up!!! but I did!!!

Robin good for the ski trip!1 I am still hoping to get out and get exercisng. I keep saying tomorow but that never comes!!!

I am cold and miserable and darn glad this week is done! WE are going to cozy in with the fire and the dogs and hope the Scotch and firewood lasts until spring!
