December 31, 2004

  • Good Morning
I am looking for a group of people who have are planning to lose a significant amount of weight by December 31, 2004. With a common goal of doing this over the next 12 months- I think this is a terriffic opportunity for us to cheer each other on through the upcoming successes and challenges.

Where do you see yourself by this time year?

    1) I will be going to the gym on 3-4 times a week rather than considering my gym membership fees an annual charitable donation.

    2) I will chose healthy well balanced meals on a regular basis

    3) I will have eliminated emotional overeating

    4) I will wearing my clothes that are size 10-12 and eliminated the 14-18's.

    What about you?

    Thanks
    Jen
  • Hi Jen
I share your goals as well, those are great insights.... I started in august 2003 at 256 lbs, I am now 214lbs and would like to lose 55 more lbs by next year. I'd like to be in the group..... and here are some of my goals.

    1) To teach myself a healthier way of eating for life
    2) To feel mentally and physically better about myself
    3) To step up my exercise routine, to learn more techniques and types of workouts.....

    Hello
I hope your week is going well. I had a bit of a disappointment last week when after 7 days of watching very closely what I was eating and multiple trips to the gym- I got on the scale to 0 ounds lost! AHH very frustrating- to be fair I did measure my waist and that had dropped an inch but still- not exactly inspiring for someone who is watching the numbers!

Julie- congrats on your great success to date- now you have proof that you can make it happen!

Glen- Yes, it is freezing here- we usually have very mild winters so we are not used to this deep freeze that most of eastern Canada and the US is experiencing- cold temperatures and slipperly driving do not make it easy to exercise. I guess the better attitude would be that I can always exercise at home too!
