I have no idea...I think its maybe some kind of soy product.

They are soy beans. Sweets we don't need much of. They are good roasted in the oven.

They r soy beans in the shell.
They resemble a pea.
They are best steamed and alil salt to taste
Eat these babies rite out of the shell.
They taste like a nutty buttery pea!!!

Missbehavin, what section of the grocery are they in? With the dried peas & beans?

I love them...I have had them in a thai resturant....my daughter lives in Dallas and gets them at Central Market. (a la-ti-da-grocery store that sells the best of everything in the world) I think she roasts them in the oven and then puts coarse salt on them. YUM!
