wrinkles?

  • Now that my face is deflating I am finding ALOT of these little undereye rail road tracks and fine lines on my forehead....so what I want to know is....

Who's got wrinkles and what the heck are you doing for them?

I know I have earned them, but geeze louise how do I stop it?

a very sad peach...good thing I didn't pick the name plumb pit...cause then I would dry out and turn into a prune, eh?

I slay me, or make myself sick. pick one. no don't!

  • LOL! Peach!

Not selling products here - I'm not an Avon distributor - BUT they do have some good products that I've been using. Might check them out. The newest one they have out (Clinical) has taken care of my chicken skin, crepy neck fairly well.

As far as preventing further wrinkles? Stay out of the sun - (sorry but thats all I've got - maybe others will come along with other prevention suggestions)

    Kel
  • one word........botox just kidding, I know nothing about botox

dear wrinkled friend..........not a soultion, but my soultion none the less.......wear them proud!! Like you said, you earned them.

your face may rebound some, once the rapid weight loss slows. can you tell I don't have a clue

    hey Kel!
  • Ode to a Wrinkled Peach

What shall we say for the girl known as Peach
Who thinks youth is passing her by?
Shall we speak or demure or laugh loud and long
Because we know faces can lie?

    "Speak!" she spake.

Early one morning, not too long ago
Peach went to the bathroom to clean.
And wistfully dreaming of princes and such,
She wished for (just) one day as queen.

    But alas...

No make up that day, and distracted by pee,
She forgot not to look in the mirror.
Eyes opened wide, and what did she see?
A sight to inspire holy terror!

    A WRINKLE!!
    AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

Poor little Peach, alone in the john,
Door locked, peering into the glass
Wondering sofly aloud, twisting this way and that,
"Have these wrinkles spread down to my ***?"
  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • And may I present ... Ms. Sooner, the poet laureate of 3FC!!
    Too funny, too funny.

    Chickadee
(who someday is going to use "Speak!" she spake in a poem of her own!)
  • Just call them what the men call theirs.........character lines

Im no help either Peach, Ive now got lines in my cheeks from smiling.........my cheeks used to be too pudgy to have lines.

Let us know if you find something!!
    Robin
  • As a matter of fact, Robin I DID find something. While in the bathroom looking in the mirror, I found that my *** is way smoother and way more dimpled than my face.

    ROFL

spake? Think of all the things you can rhyme with it, Chickadee!!!!

Sooner, that was probably the most beautiful thing I have ever read. I will now clean my bathroom only while wearing a ski mask with a crown on top and buck naked. It's the least I deserve....well, that and a piece of pie!

Don't think I didn't think of botox, Debkay!!!!! ROFL I razzed Jiff about that enough!!!

And, Spot thanks for the product reccomendation, I am going to try to get a hold of it. I have to dig up the Avon lady though. I think I may go to the dermatologist and see what she says. I've been using olive oil and vaseline Makes me hungry and slimey. Pass the garlic.

  • Sooner, I just read this beauty again a was particularly struck by the positioning of this sentence:

"Have these wrinkles spread down to my ***?" [/B][/QUOTE]

    followed by your signature:

    The Truth is Out There.

    ROFL

hugs and all that good stuff! Thanks...it was great!
    peach
  • Peach -- I thank God for you. No kidding. You can make me laugh out louder than anyone I know (well, except maybe for me...)

And Chick -- yes, you may use Speak! she spake any time you like -- as long as you credit your source for such literary brilliance (a footnote would be nice...)

    Sooner

And -- Oh, yeah -- The Truth is OUT There note. I willy washed (now there's a concept) back and forth whether to leave it or not, but it just seemed such an appropriate ending...
  • this was PERFECT!!!!

AND SUCH FABULOUS REVENGE!!!! after all those comments peachie's made about my face.... HA!!! revenge is even better than chocolate!!!!
  • WHO SAID CHOCOLATE

I'm not sure about wrinkles but for stretch marks they say the only thing that works is Retin-A cream. Retin-A builds up collagin, the firming fibers that wer broken when skin was stretched. Side effects include temporary redness and flaky, dry skin.

I would need to dip my entire body in this stuff b/c I look like a freakin road map.

For some reason I though Retin-A was also used for wrinkles.
Go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist, I'm sure they would know, if you go to the Oakland Pharmacy they have a cosmetic counter, maybe you could ask the lady that works there?
