As for me I went to the nutritionalist today (early). They had a cancellation. She put my on an 1800 cal diet for the gestational diabetes. I know with that amount of cal I will lose weight. She said I shouldn't try and lose weight while pregnant. I said if I follow the plan to the tee and I lose weight are you going to yell at me? She said no we don't yell at people here we save that for home.LOL I said ok I will tell you know I will lose weight.LOL I am ready to start tomorrow. Lunch is going to be my hardest meal. What I was doing with the WW I was getting like 1200 cal a day. I am supposed to have 2250 so she cut the difference in half and put me on 1800 cal. It is more food then I was eating and she didn't want to compound me with even more food to overwhelm me. I can't believe how much I have to eat. I was eating a lot before it seems. I will be getting in more fruit and veggies. I liked how she based the diet on what I normally eat. She didn't add in a lot of milk like the last time because I am taking a calcium supplement they are the carmel chews and I have 1000mg a day of those. She said with the other things I will be eating I will get enough calcuim in a day so I don't have to drink milk all day. I don't care for milk. But if I do have it on my cereal or oatmeal I use skim.
I am excited to see how much I lose in the first week and to see how long it will take for the sugar to come down to normal. I have to keep a log of my food and the tests so we can see what foods cause the numbers to rise and adjust the diet according to the numbers of the blood sugar tests I take daily. I know the diet will help but the stress is not a good factor for me. That raises it and I don't have a lot of control over that or my feelings. Maybe that is the problem like Dr. Phil says I need to take control of those things and maybe things would be better.

this week. The fact that I'm losing my job isn't stressing me out ... it's just taking so darn long to get here
39 more days to go, but who's counting?? Then I can concentrate on myself & the boys. There has to be more time in the day for me if I'm not at work away from home 10 hours a day right? <Please someone say yes here and give me some hope
