We arrived at the hospital at around 12pm and she was ammitted and was given her medication. At around 4 pm she was finally wheeled off for surgery. Around 5:30 pm the Dr. came out and said that everything was fine and that we would be able to see her in about 1 1/2 hrs. After about 3 hrs and 4 phones calls to the nurses later we were allowed to go into see her. She looks good and was able to speak and respond to all that were there. I will post more tomorrow when I see her.

the surgery is the hardest part on the family and the first month of recovery is when i realized how much my husband loved me and was willing to care for me in sickness and health. we are a lucky bunch of women to have such caring dh.

the best part is now you both have the rest of your lives to celebrate savor each goal she meets
