I seem to be at a standstill

  • Anybody else at this stage? It's gettin real frustrating. I'm fluctuating between 152 and 154. I know I should be thankful I am not gaining too much. But my darn scale seems to be broke! Because it's not cooperating with me

    Any suggestions?
  • Since your not looking at losing big numbers, temp stalls are not bad, they help your body stablize. As long as your not stalling for weeks, then just try to wait it out, you could be shedding inches istead of pounds. Try using the measuring tape at this point and see if your results are showing up there. Other than that, look around the boards, there are a lot of ideas to break plateaus.

  • The inches/pounds thing is true for me, I haven't lost a thing in two weeks, I've been bouncing between 148 and 152, but no concrete weight loss. I decided to measure today, though, and was ecstatic to find that I've lost 1.5 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my hips!! Even so, though, I've learned to stick it out through stalls. I exercise regularly and eat right, so now all I have to do is be patient. I seem to stall for a few weeks then lose a few pounds, then stall again and lose a few pounds, etc. etc. It seems to happen more the closer I get to my goal, so hang in there! Good luck!
  • Throw out the word diet and replace it with health.

    A healthy attitude.
    A healthy WOE.
And a healthy way of thinking.

Numbers are numbers, some good some bad, but consentrate on YOU and the rest willl soon follow.

Hang in there you CAN and WILL do it.
