Doing NOTHING at the Beach DAILY Sunday

  • Today let's do NOTHING!

Let's NOT think about dieting, weighing, worrying, pondering, putting things off, cooking, cleaning, arguing.......

Let's take a break and do NOTHING!

    Let's sit back and relax.
Let's smell Ruth's coffee and have a chat.
    Let's watch a cloud.
    Listen to bird song.
    Call a friend.
    Read a book.
Hold hands with a loved one.

    Let's do NOTHING.

Except tell someone you love them.
    Care for them.
    Are proud of them.
    Enjoy being with them.

    NOTHING!

Aw, the pure plese of getting away for a time and do NOTHING!

    Have a do nothing day.

  • Grandma Marcie, what a nice thought! I wish I could do nothing at all today, but that just isn't going to happen! I will, however, do things I enjoy...does that count? Make my son a headless horseman costume, and finish and outfit I started for me. That is first on my list for today.

Just too much going on for me to take the day off, I'm afraid! I took my day off yesterday, so I'm ready to get busy and tackle some projects today.

So, towards that goal, I need to get going. The house is still quiet, but that won't last long! Have a wonderful, relaxing day at the beach!
  • Good morning, Grandma marcie I am going to take your advice. ( with the small exception of some gardening.) I am off to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family today. So I will follow your advice and love and enjoy my family. Have a wonderful day.
  • Marcie,
I am working today but like Franny on wonderful things that make me happy.

The weather here in LA is beautiful, crisp with the sun out, I wish that I could send some of that to everyone on the beach today.....

    enjoy your sunday....

  • Marcie: I havn't had a do nothing day, but I had an exciting and pleasant day, starting with an inspiring Church service. We went out for lunch afterwards, and then home. I prepared for a small group meeting at our house tonight. Made some refreshments-Slices of apple and pear, grapes, kiwi, cheese cubes, whole wheat crackers, laughing cow cream cheese, and peanut butter for the fruit. Iced tea and water and coffee. Everyone enjoyed the treat.

Rowan: do you know anything about Saddleback Church? Ever heard of it? Or Pastor Rick Warren? Be looking forward to your web page.

    Tomorrow another good day. Lizzie
