Just so we know the difference...... I got this info from web-holidays.com

"In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. Unlike the American tradition of remembering Pilgrims and settling in the New World, Canadians give thanks for a successful harvest. The harvest season falls earlier in Canada compared to the United States due to the simple fact that Canada is further north." (No kidding!)

It's also too damned cold here at the end of November. We also are able to have a breather before heading into Christmas. I don't know how any Americans manage to lose weight between the end of November and January 1!

Don't even get me started on the pilgrims and the Indians. How could you discover a new world that already had people living there...same thing goes for Columbus Ok I'm done now

Happy Thanksgiving Canadians!!

You know, I was thinking, since I live only about 100 miles from the Canadian border, I should celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving too, and then move on to American Thanksgiving. Heck, I could celebrate (read "eat") from the beginning of October right through the New Years!!!
