Hi ladies

!!! Cristi glad you found us. Sorry to hear you've been feeling down. Hope things are looking up for you now. This thread waxes and wanes but luckily Faye has been giving us some CPR

. This is my second full week on WW and I think it gives me the structure I need. Well, that and the knowing that I'll be facing someone in person to weigh in has been keeping me on track

. I go to my 3rd weigh-in tomorrow morning and I'm keeping my fingers crossed

. I'll let you gals know if I have good news or not.
Faye, that is a great idea about carrying the list on your walk next week. I am lucky in that I don't know anyone personally who has been afflicted with breast cancer. The best thing we can do is to be aware of our own bodies--do that BSE each month, make healthy food choices and always keep up with your physical exams with your docs!

Oooh, sorry to hear about your Cubbies

. I'm sure that so-called "fan" would be torn limb from limb if he wasn't escorted out of that game.
I have good news after all. Remember I told you gals about our dog getting attacked by a loose pitbull? Well, it seemed unlikely that the dog owner would be able to pay the vet bills since he was/is unemployed. But when I sent the certified letter to him demanding payment, I also addressed it to the owner of the house (who is related to him). The homeowner's insurance policy will reimburse us 100% for the vet bills within the next 2 weeks--just in time for our trip to Bangkok. I'm glad this is almost over and done with.
Well, it's a Friday night and my DH has had to work for a few extra hours. I think I'll put my son to bed then curl up with a good book...it's been ages since I've been able to read something without interruption. Have a great weekend ladies!
