Hi, My name is Marg, and I am waiting to get a date for surgery. I have competed all the test, and now just waiting for insurance company to approve, and a date set. Can anyone tell me how fast you got approval from your insurance company ?

I am excited about surgery, and the only chance that I have to be thin. I also would like anyone tell me about thier experiences on the first weeks after surgery.

welcome, oh blond one.. i'm sure you're not ditzy.. insurance approvals vary. some come within a few days, others have to fight for months. mine didn't come until AFTER the surgery [the surgeon's office didn't pay real close attention and did it anyway!]

as for the first few weeks, read around!!! there are several who are going through this right now. go ahead.. you can post on their threads and ask all kinds of questions.
