I recently joined a gym, I am 5'2, about 135 pounds, and am looking to lose 15 to 20 pounds. I consulted a fitness trainer, and he gave me a workout, and told me I should be able to lose the weight I wanted within two months time. I was told I needed to burn 3500 calories weekly to lose a pound of fat, the workout he gave me only burns about 1500.
