    Great job Myra!

Came in to say hello I had a nice weekend except for the fact of having chinese food twice I'll make sure to drink lots of water today.

I'll be back this evening. Have a great day everybody

  • Hi everyone,

St. Pat's day was good; 11 adults for dinner, and lots of little ones running around. I love having my family over, we get along well, and really enjoy each other's company.

You all sound so striking w/your dark hair and Italian looks! My medium brown hair and brown eyes must be the result of being "Heinz 57" varieties when it comes to ethnic backgrounds. We're mainly Irish and German, but also have touches of French, English, and Norwegian. All of us (3 boys and 3 girls) in my family look exactly alike. When my sister and I worked together for 19 years, people were always asking us if we were twins. Of course she hated it, as she's 9 years younger!

Myra, you've done well, great loss! It was good to hear from you.

Dianne, how was the garden show? I love going to those. Joe and I are avid gardeners.....he concentrates on the veggies, and I love my herbs and flowers. This year will be the first summer I'm home, and I hope to get lots of projects done this year. One thing about gardening and yard work...it's never done!

Hope everyone has a great Monday. Terri, I miss your posts!

    ~Jen
  • Great job Myra! Keep on doing whatever it is you are doing. YAY!

    Essie,
    Love that Chinese. MMMmmm!

    Jen,
Glad it was great. That is a wonderful compliment for you. She doesn't look old, you look young!!!

Brittany (my daughter) lost 3.4 this week. I lost 1.
    It is happening!
    YAY!!!

    Happy Monday Everybody.
    Terri
  • , my buddies

Great job - Myra, Terri and Brittany!! Wow, you guys are doing great.

LOL, Jen -- 57 varieties of Heinz??? You crack me up . I'm sure you are beautiful with all your mixtures. I had a good St. Pat's day as well. My step-daughter came over with her kids and wound up staying over. It was fun, like a slumber party. She's pregnant, due in early May, and she and I went to BabiesRUs to look at portable play yards. Boy, its amazing how they make all these combination things. The play yard is a play pen, it has a bassinett that comes out, it has a changing table, a side pocket to put pampers, etc. and a cover that makes it look like a tent, to keep out the sun and bugs! I bought that one for her. Didn't have all this fancy stuff when I was having kids, not fair, LOL. Oh, Jen I didn't go to a garden show (I have a black thumb, LOL), I think that was Zoe, but not sure.

Today is my 22nd wedding anniversary and I'm at work and then I have bowling tonight. But we celebrated yesterday and had a great time. I had 3 glasses of zinfandel at dinner, so my hubby took advantage of me last night, oh, wait a minute..... I think that was me taking advantage of him! LOL. Either way, we had a good time. Today I received flowers from him at the office, so sweet. People here are amazed that we've been together so long, LOL. I tell them I know a few people that are as lucky (you guys, my friends ).

Well, gotta run, Hi Essie and Zoe. Hope you guys are doing well. Talk to you all later.

    Dianne
  • Dianne, Happy Anniversary! May you have many more wonderful years together. I LMAO reading about your 3 glasses of wine The magic is still there, huh? I know what you mean about the new playpens/crib/play yards. I have one for when I've got my grandsons overnight. They're like a Mercedes compared to the playpens we had for our kids. My Mom had one of the old wooden ones at her house for our kids to be in!

Patti, so sorry, it was you who went to the home and garden show. How was it? Hope you got lots of ideas for your home.

Terri.....give Brittany a high five for me! What a good loss; she must be very happy with her progress. It sounds as though you've gone past your 40 lb. mark. Congrats!!!

    Hi Essie, Myra!!!!

    see you all tomorrow
    ~Jen
  • Weigh In
    Good Evening Ladies ~

Weigh in today and I lost 3 of the 5 pounds that I gained on vacation. I know that it's a good thing but I can't help but be disappointed (in myself) because I had lost 4 of the 5 as of Friday morning but then, proceeded to eat my way through the weekend. So, I am going on the record for losing 3......hopefully, next Monday will be the other 2 plus some.

Myra ~ WTG!! You go girl!! That is fantastic! Keep it up.

Essie ~ we had chinese food this weekend too. I love that stuff!!!!

Jen ~ Your St. Pat's day din-din sounded fun. No problem forgetting I was the one at the Home and Garden show......I can't remember those things either. Ha!! It was nice and saw some interesting things. We were looking for a landscaper to come do a miracle for us......

Terri ~ Congrats on your loss and of course WTG for {b]Brittany[/b] too!!!

Dianne ~ Either way you look at it, you taking advantage of him or he you, you had a great time! Happy Anniversary!!!

Ok, since I think I'm the only one who hasn't given a description of my looks, I'll do it now......dark, dark brown hair and hazel eyes ~ not olive complection but not too light.

Hope you all are having a great Monday night
  • You Guys have been very busy posting.

How are all my Buds this evening?

Zoe, 3 lbs is very good. I know what you mean about weekends They can be tough.

Dianne, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY That's so nice that the sparks are still there. It sounds like you had a very good time. I love BabieRUs. My niece & nephew work there. When I do become a grandma, my grandchild is going to be decked out all the time.

Jen, Heinz 57 varieties you are too funny. Nice to hear when families get together & have a good time. Even though you say your sister is 9 yrs. younger you must be looking good girl

Terri, congratulations to you & Brittany(love that name). I useto love to see moms with their daughters in the meetings, talking about how they plan together, etc. That's sweet.

I'm feeling tired. Had a great workout with Pete. Weights that is!

    Have a goodnight.

    Love,
    Essie
  • Thanks for the good wishes everyone!

Ok, I'm confused (nothing new) -- who is Patty??? Is Patti Zoe's alter ego? LOL.

You can't give me too many names!

Just stopped in to say "good morning" - have a great day everyone.

    Dianne
  • Happy Anniversary Dianne!!!! Oooh! It sounds like you two had a beautiful time. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I love to get a little wine with a romantic dinner. My birthday is a week from today and I look forward to my romantic dinner.

Congrats Patty on yor loss. You sound beautiful too.
Hope the garden show went well. Got some good ideas?

    Jen,
Hi girl. How are you? Any parties being planned for anything? I love to hear about your dinners. That is the way we used to be in Fl. but not too much here yet.

    Essie,
When you have a grandchild that is going to be one lucky kid. You sound like you would have so much fun.
He or she would be your little angel

Hope everyone's week is going well. I just did 45 min. on the treadmill. I now do it with Regis and Kelly. It has finally become habit. YAY!!!

    Hi Myra.

    Terri
  • Morning everyone

Dianne, Zoe had signed a post with the name of Patti, and I used that. (You have a great sense of humor!)

Zoe, good loss! You'll lose that vacation wt. in no time.

I have no loss to post, unfortunately. That's ok....walked yesterday, and will do it again today. The weather is finally starting to co-operate, we'll be outside in no time.

Just thought I'd stop in, will be back later.

    ~Jen
  • Thanks Terri for your good wishes. We had a ball. Important to keep those home fires burning girls!

Jen, "good sense of humor" huh? Is that a way of saying I'm a real oddball/nut job? LOL. Well, I've decided that I'm going to continue to call "patty" Zoe (if she doesn't mind). I feel like Patti is a different person (shades of Sybil!) and I'm easily confused, LOL.

Hey Essie - how are you girl? Hope everything's good.

    Hi, Myra & Zoe/Patty.

Gotta run, talk to you later
  • Dianne,
No, no, a good sense of humor doesn't make us oddballs.........just happy!!!!
I love to laugh, and appreciate someone w/a good sense of humor.
Too much of life is serious, it's more fun this way.

    Jen
  • You guys are too funny

    How is everyone doing?

    Terri
  • Hi

Everytime I come in here you all bring such a big smile to my face

I think we are a great group. How could I ever leave here. Not that I'm leaving but when I was thinking on going on "THAT OTHER DIET" I'm so glad I came back.

Jen, don't feel so bad about not posting a loss. I'm in the same boat but have been working out everyday with cardio & weights. I'm feeling good. Walking is the best. If you can do that a couple of times a week you'll be alright.

Dianne, I was confused with "Patty" also. A while back I asked who was Patty but never got an answer so I figured let me go with the flow. Shades of Sybil LOL!!!

Terri, thanks for the compliment about my future grandchild. 3 women I work with came in with news about being grandmothers. They were glowing.

These weight training workouts are killing me

    Have a good night everybody.
    Luv,
    Essie
  • Hello, my buddies

You're right Essie, we are a great group, you would not be as happy elsewhere! We are also very humble and modest (NOT)!

I guess I missed the post where Patty came to join us, LOL. All of a sudden I saw Jen talking to Patty and I thought, who the heck is Patty, and where was I when she got here, LOL!

Jen -- you're right it is good to laugh, I especially like laughing at myself. In this world a sense of humor is vitally important. So, I guess I should just learn to take a compliment, huh??? Always had trouble with that!

Terri - I'm doing good and how about you? You and Brittany must be so happy with your losses. How much have you each lost now -- I know you are past the 40 lbs. mark, right? That's great.

Myra & Zoe, how are you guys doing. Come talk to us.

Have a great Wednesday, guys. Talk to you soon.

    Dianne
