Weightloss tips?

  • What tips can you offer to someone whos weight constantly fluctuates?
  • Hi Ig8596,
First I'd like to introduct myself to you. My name is Tequilla. I am a 37 year old stay at home mom. Everyones weight fluctuates throughout the day. What time of day are you weighing in? If you weighing in mid day that could be part of the problem. Weighing yourself as soon as you wake in the morning is a better idea than weighing yourself mid day or at night. Each time you consume food or drink your weight will increase a little. The more you eat or drink throughout the day determines how much your weight will fluctuate. Do you know that with each movement you are actually burning a few calories. Increasing fluids to make sure you are properly hydrated is a good way to start. I'm not saying fill up on fluids but increasing the amount of fluid you intake daily can help with appetite control. I am a promoter/consultant for Thrive by Le-Vel products. We offer a variety of products that can aid in your successful weight loss and/or management. Let me know if you would like to hear more about Thrive products. Welcome aboard!

  • Hi, Ig8596

Even with a healthy diet and regular exercise, it's natural for your body weight to fluctuate. You may experience temporary weight changes as a result of water retention, changes in hormone levels during your monthly cycle, and other causes.
    • Sodium and carbs cause water retention
You may be able to minimize water retention by cutting back on sugary drinks and processed foods.

Adding potassium– and magnesium -rich foods to your diet may also help balance out your sodium levels.
