We are talking about organizing an At Work program at our office. I called the other day with questions and was put through to the At Work department where I got a recording asking for my name, company, number, etc. and i would get a call back in 2 business days. I would think they could devote at least one person to the At Work number or give their regular call centre folks the information to give out. Anyway, does anyone know how many people are needed for an at work program and how much does it cost per member? I'm in Ontario, Canada so I need the info in Canadian dollars.
Thanks.
I'm in the states and hope this info can help. We need a total of 20 paying members, our cost is $100 (US dollars) + $10 (US dollars registration fee waived if you are a continuing member) for a 10 week program. You also get all the info given out for the weeks of the program and can purchase additional stuff.
The cost will probably vary according to location, but we also needed 20 people. Also, you might check with your benefits department because at my old company, they would reimburse us half the cost of the meetings if we attended them all. I think they saw it as a benefit to the company to have healthier employees. Not all companies will see it that way, but it doesn't hurt to check!

I am from Ottawa so it may be slightly different here, but our work offers an At Work Program and the minimum
is 15 and the cost is $141.25 for new members and $135.35 for current members.
Hope this helps.

At Work
Well, just to muddy the waters a little more...
Here in NE Ohio, my At Work group only needed 15 people and the cost was $120 for a 12 week series.
I got the same recording when I called for info about starting our At Work group, and I was called back the next day. Once I began dealing with a live person, though, it went very well, and she was extremely eager to help in any way to get the group set up.
Good luck! My At Work group is so important to me... when I had to go to a WW center for my monthly weigh-ins, it was actually difficult at times.
