Some of you will recognize this as an encore title of last year's thread but it's just so perfect for July, and my message is no less true today than it was 365 days ago

For those of you who might not be familiar, the title of our July thread is courtesy of singer Katie Perry's hit song "Firework." Struggling with weight issues often leads to insecurity and self-doubt about other areas in our life. We sell ourselves short in how amazing and dynamic we are every damn day. Raise your hand if this has ever been you. Yep, I thought so. It is clear from reading various threads on the 3FC site that there is direct connection between dropped pounds and increased confidence. July is a long, hot month. This year has turned our lives upside down and so many of us are working through added stressors like working from home and/or care giving of some type. We're isolated but still trying to connect in different ways. Maybe this very challenging time in the world has pushed you to be more introspective about your life and goals. Instead of viewing it as a month to slog through let's recommit ourselves to power through tough workouts, re-evaluate what's working and isn't working for our health or even in our lives, and embrace that we all are every bit as shiny, mesmerizing and powerful as any sparkler or bottle rocket.
Wishing you all a healthy and productive July!

). I should also continue my two-week challenge later today.
Hi everyone! Best of luck this month!!!

As Katy would sing..."Boom, boom, boom. Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon." Yep, that's us!
! One of the most exciting things about starting the new thread is getting to read everyone's update. As a gift to myself, I decided to create a new ticker and update all my stats. It feels like a fresh start.
. Enjoy your movie night!
on your thoughtful decision. Goals are great and provide one marker success. With that stated, not all goals look alike. The insight you've gained about yourself during your ADF cycles, and what progress means to you has been invaluable. You sound like you are in a very good place
