Hello again friends!

  • Hello, I was active in this community in 2011 when I lost 71 pounds on Ideal Protein. It was an effective weight loss program but not sustainable for me.

    Since then I divorced my husband of 18 years and moved from New England to Florida. I ballooned up to 245 and got down to 197. I quit drinking alcohol, which helped and also quit all meat.

    Then the Pandemic hit and I began binging ice cream. I’m now at 213.5 and had my last ice cream binge yesterday. 🤦🏻*♀️ I had a true love affair with it....

    I have a freezer full of veggies, plenty of rice and healthy sauce options. My fridge is full of eggs and I have plenty of options to add to them. I will stop eating ice cream as my breakfast, lunch and dinner (because I’ve done that often during these crazy times), and make great choices!!!

    I can and will conquer my weight again!

  • Welcome back Tampagirl! I too love ice cream. I cannot buy it and bring it home. I will eat it all the first day. Instead I get a small cone or sundae occasionally when I'm out so when I finish that, I'm done. That works for me. Good luck to you. You can do this!!
