You know, I love Weight Watchers, I really do. I've done well on the program, I love my leader, I like the flexibility, I like the group of people at my meetings. But I really dislike those new WW commercials for FlexPoints. Have you seen them?

The cookie one really annoys me. That woman is so smug when she says, "Well, maybe that's why you didn't stay on your diet." or something like that. I want to slap her! The office coworkers one isn't any better, but if I had a group of coworkers who were acting like the food police, maybe I'd be snarky to them, too.

They must be working, however, because my WW meeting was packed. And, hey, I ate a cookie today--but I wasn't with anyone so I couldn't look smug.

I haven't seen the commercial yet. What happens in it?

I find the cookie eating one annoying as well, particularly the remark about "maybe that's why you're not on your diet". The whole thing smacks of some of the treatment we sometimes talk about on these threads.

I saw that commercial too and if anyone said that to me they'd get a nonverbal middle finger response. It just comes across as really rude.
