I went to the orthodontist today, and instead of just putting in a new wire he put in this contraption that stops my top teeth from covering my bottom teeth. This is so they can finally put braces on the bottom teeth. So this means I can't eat right! My molars don't touch each other AT ALL! Plus I sound just like ELMER FUDD!
AFTER he did this orthodontist told me to eat PASTA, RICE, and MASHED POTATOES
until my bite adjusts and I can chew!
I slurped down scrambled eggs this morning, but that will get real old, real quick. :sad:And I am not looking forward to going to work and trying to talk on the police radio or answer 9-1-1 calls sounding like this!

So I am feeling pretty sorry for myself right this moment. And that makes me feel pretty petty...it is so NOT A BIG DEAL in the scheme of things, right? Just a temporary set back...I just need to adjust my attitude and figure out what to eat!
Any good ideas? So far I have come up with scrambed eggs and ricotta deserts. Not sure how long I can live on those!
Thanks for letting me vent (like you had a choice!)

Well, it's a suggestion, anyway!
