But I have an excuse... it's my birthday! LOL Actually, I've done quite well.... I was planning on Uncle Sam's for breakfast, but I'm out of milk. I just didn't feel like cooking eggs and bacon, so I just wrapped a piece of canadian bacon around a cheese stick. I had a spoon of peanut butter a while later. I did good for lunch, had my salad. But (the cheating part)...I asked my mom to make the flourless peanut butter cookies for me. She watches the baby while I work. She made half a recipe, came out to 16 cookies, and I've already eaten four! Oops! And I plan to eat more LOL. The only thing is, she thought using the Natural PB wouldn't work, so she used reduced-fat Jif. It's a good recipe! Now, I hope dh doesn't take me out for a birthday dinner... I might be in trouble!
I don't think you are doing bad at all!!!!! You could have eaten REGULAR pb cookies, or you could have had pop tarts for breakfast! I think you are doing rather well. Just remember, tomorrow is another day. Have fun for your birthday!
Happy Birthday - just remember, the fat they took out when the reduced it in the peanut butter was replaced by SUGAR - more carbs! We all deserve a treat once in awhile and what better occasion than our birthday.
Quilter - those are some impressive numbers! You are so close to goal you can probably taste it! Woooo hoooooo! Way to go!!! You are an inspiration to us all.
I hope you had a great day! Sometimes a planned indulgence (I don't like the "C" word! ) is the best thing in the world to help you stay OP! Enjoy those cookies!
