how do you cope with shrinking boobs?

  • It's a silly question but I don't want them to shrink I hated my boobs for most of my teen years and only started liking them about a year ago.
I've gotten thin before from not eating much and breasts remained the same, but now I'm working out I think they're getting a tiny bit smaller. I'm not too fat, but rather flabby with belly fat.
I'm worrying over something silly, i know, but have your breasts shrinked a lot?
  • When I lost a lot of weight (35lb or so), yep, they got smaller, and flatter too. It happens, breasts naturally change shape with age, and I think this accelerates the process. There's a lot of working on how you feel about your body and relate to it needed with dieting, and sometimes this includes how you feel about yourself as a sexual being.

I'm doing better at loving myself at any shape, and a good partner will agree. My partner thinks I'm incredibly hot regardless of what I weigh or what shape my boobs are, or what I wear, though he definitely appreciates nice outfits! Just in case this applies to anyone reading, if you have a partner who gives you grief about this, tells you you're not desirable at a certain shape or tries to control your weight, get out, because that is a very bad sign.
  • I've had the opposite problem. I'm losing weight everywhere BUT my boobs (for example, I've lost like 3" off my calfs, because that is somewhere I felt especially fat :sarcasm). As a result of my band size shrinking without losing cup volume, my cup size is actually going up. I've gone from a 44D to a 42DD to a 40DDD to a 38F. (Those are all the same cup volumes, but the letter gets bigger as the band gets smaller.) I really wish I WOULD lose some boob volume, but so far, it hasn't happened. I'm hoping as I lose more weight, I get back down at least into a D.

What I've learned is that no one's body is going to behave the exact way they want (and we all want what someone else has, the "grass is greener" effect), and that is something we just have to learn to accept and try to be happy with what we have to work with.
  • I lost my boobs bc I lost a little over 140lbs. I went from a DD to a tinyC/ full B. It sucks but I'd rather be healthy and I work out a lot. I feel like they are getting a better shape slowly instead of just looking deflated, but I'm still self conscious. Dry brushing and massaging helps. Sorry but it's a part of weight loss for most. Gotta learn to love your body.
