  • Hey all!

I'm new here, recently back on the trying to lose weight bandwagon. I've always struggled with weight, but have been varying degrees of physically fit throughout my life (33 years). Currently, I'm near my top weight and definitely at my least fit. I've got about 130 pounds to lose.

I recently very rapidly lost 15 pounds because of job stress (and am now unemployed because I had to get away from that stress). So lack of income makes this undertaking interesting, to say the least. However, I have a rowing machine, exercise bike, and P90 videos, so I'm ahead of the game in that regard.

I've been working out for about a week, and it's going okay - except I've discovered my gut gets in the way (literally - the fat blocks the motion). The eating healthy is less of a smooth ride because I'm trying to use what I've got in the house before I spend more money, AND I'm craving all the carbs ever.

So that's me, in a nutshell!
  • What kind of food do you have in the house? If it's junk food, I'd suggest throwing it out. Otherwise you won't be able to really get started until you finish it.
  • It's not junk - just not the "best" stuff for a diet journey. But note again that I have zero income (I'm also single, so there's NO income here currently). Throwing out food is not really an option.
