June '18 Weigh-In

  • Hello! This month will be summer.

    Goal-I would like to figure out what's been going on that I'm gaining weight. It's frustrating. I am hoping to reverse the trend for June.

    June 1- 126.9 lbs t. o. m.

    June 4- 127.7 lbs Monday- weights

    June 10- 126.4 lbs (LS) gym

    June 13- 126.0 lbs 30 min stepmill, 20 min elliptical, 10 min treadmill- no cereal past few days!

    I don't even have a starting weight because I've been too scared to check.
    Had an awful TOM last month - bloating, cramps, weight gain -- ugh it was terrible! I'm putting it down to eating more animal based protein, so I'm working to adding more veggies and plant-based protein.

    Thinking that my hormones may be changing and I'm trying to remedy with diet. I'm drinking a green smoothie every morning (just almond milk, kale, 1/2 banana, chia seeds, a tiny bit of fruit and maybe a scoop of protein... Max 150 cals total) Definitely feeling better! Feels like a tremendous experiment. Bring it on!

    Thanks. Yes, I am wondering about hormones. I turned forty in May. I work out daily and haven't changed my diet. In a year, I've found the ten pounds I lost. I did start lifting much heavier and am done with that. It's frustrating.

    Well, we need to start from somewhere and dealing with it is the best choice.

    We have a house in NY and a house in PA. I was convinced that my PA scale was my "lower scale." I think they are pretty close! We brought it to NY and figured that out

    So, LS is for my "lower scale" in PA
