2% Weight Loss Challenge #128

  • 2% Weight Loss Challenge #128

    Hello everyone!

Welcome to our new 2% weight loss challenge! Post your weight at the start of the challenge or on joining the thread and your 2% goal. To find 2% of your weight multiply your weight by 0.02. Round up to whatever units your scale measures ie 0.2, 0.5 or 1.

First one to lose 2% is the winner and starts the new thread.

    Good Luck!!

  • nightowlrn Congrats on winning the last challenge!! I am in, I ended up starting the last challenge and then ended up binging for an entire weekend and stopped posting because I had gained so much. I am back within 1 lb. of my last challenge starting weight.

  • nightowlrn - congrats on winning the last challenge

kfunk: you are doing awesome. I'm trying to stay within the daily points range each day and try to have quite a few free point foods - ie chicken, veggies, plain yogurt. That way when I get a sugar craving I have extra points to use. I know WW works if I stay within my points. My motivation is still not 100% but I'm working on it. How are you doing?

I'd like to join in on this one.

  • flower It is so nice to see you!!! I agree with you that WW works when I stick with my points. I had a really bad weekend a couple back and I didn't track a thing, but now decided that even when I go off track I at least have to track everything! The important thing is that you are still going even though your not at 100% at the moment, I have been there so many times in the past 18 months.

momtopands hiiii!!! I decided that I wont let my slip ups keep me from posting this time! I am feeling pretty stable at the moment, but that can change in the blink of an eye.

  • kfunk - it's nice to see you too. I agree it's a good idea to track even when you've gone off plan. I also think it's a good idea to keep posting when things aren't going well but it's sometimes hard to do that. Anyway the important thing is that we are still working at it. I am really tired of losing and gaining these last 10 lbs. I hope this time is the last time

    good luck everyone

  • Good morning! I said that I would post the good, bad and ugly...

  • Kfunk - you have come so far....no ugly there. Just reality. I realized exactly 2 years ago at 202 pounds that I needed to lose rather than gain weight. I made it to around 150 a year ago and everything was going great...until it wasn't. I fault my not tracking "the ugly" with gaining 25 back last year.

I lost track of myself and what was good for me. I gained back 25 pounds slowly, but I knew I was gaining so I stopped weighing and tracking. 3 months ago, I finally got the will to stop gaining and take control again. I got serious, got out my tracking tools again, and am now 13 down with 12 to go to get to 150. I am hopeful I can manage that goal by the end of the summer. I expect to have some "ugly" weeks, but I have promised myself I won't stop tracking and trying to understand what caused the "ugly" and if it was worth it and how to adjust to the "worth it uglies"

The good news is - I met this thread's 2% goal this morning. So, we can all reset. I doubt I will win the next one, but here's to all of us for trying and keeping with it !!!!
