127 pounds to lose, need support!

  • I need encouragement in losing this weight. A few years ago I lost from 236 to 150 so I know I can do it, but it just seems so much harder this time. I have no real time support so I am hoping to find some online!
  • Welcome back! Hop in anywhere that you want - there are groups on here of like minded people who will cheer you in as you embark on this journey. You can do this!
  • Me too!
I regained the 80 lbs that I lost, and added a few extra. It's a horrible feeling. Very depressing. I was under 220 lbs at one point! Now, I'm 308 lbs. It's very upsetting to me. I'm retired, so I hide in my house a lot now. I have a very nice friend that shows up regularly to get me walking. She's wonderful. Her and my husband and my son are the world to me. I don't know what I'd do without them. I do plan on starting to go to Planet Fitness this week to ramp up my exercise. I plan to go very early in the AM. I've gotten quite shy about exercising in front of others. I would be so happy to get down to 220 again! And if that's where I stay, so be it.
  • There's also the re-gainers thread! So what's your schedule? Do you walk everyday, or swim, or what?

Women in my family are big. You can't make a Clydesdale into a Thoroughbred.
It is so upsetting to regain it all back and add some extra. I am definitely not a thoroughbred, lol.

I try to walk and use the Wii for arms every day. I just have to take it slow because of chronic pain. I wish I could swim but it is almost an hour one way to get to an indoor pool. I have ponds but they are cold, lol, and there are things I can't see in there. Too scared to jump in in the summer, lol
