Not weighing myself for 7 weeks?

  • I want to just work really hard and not weigh myself until my doctors appointment 7 weeks from now? Is that a good/bad idea?

I got off track Thanksgiving-Christmas and gained 9 pounds. I’m assuming half of it was in water weight.

I’ve been working really hard for over a week, and my old pants fit again and my winter jacket is much looser then when I got it.

I have not weighed myself since last Wednesday when I was 165.

Is this a good idea to just try really hard with my eating and not weigh myself for over 7 weeks?

    Nothing bad will happen?
  • If you know you're making progress, then you don't really need to weigh yourself. If your clothes are getting looser then you're making progress. If you're not sure, then I think weighing yourself once a week would be a good idea. Personally I weigh myself about once a month.
