Trying this out!

  • Hi there! I'm here because I need a way to stay motivated and on track, with positive affirming feedback, and to be inspired by others who have already reached their goals. I'm currently a busy grad student surrounded by lots of very healthy and fit people, which can make me feel really lonely being the odd one out. I also fluctuate in my weight and can't consistently keep it down. Hoping this place helps me do the trick once and for all!

  • Welcome, Criticreading! It looks like you've got a good set of mini-goals there. Do you have a plan, and a timeline? Are you still trying to work up what your plan and timeline are? What eating style do you plan to use?

Thanks Eagle! I'm hoping to reach 155 by the end of October, and 145 mid-December when my semester ends. I'm trying to focus on an exercise plan, mostly with running (recently completed a 5K and want to get to 10K). As for meal plans, I'm trying to follow a modified Whole30 diet.

The Whole 30 is a great program. My husband and I both did it. Your weight loss goals are 100% achievable- I wish you luck! Congrats on completing a 5K! I've never done one.
