Need a Buddy 70+ goal

  • Hi I have a 77pd goal. Really would like a buddy with around the same goal to report to daily directly.

My idea is we make a forum on here we report to daily. Or we can do it by texting. Always having support at your fingertips.

Please contact me if you really want yo do this.
  • Davisg -- Hi there! I have a similar amount to lose, although I'm breaking it up into smaller bits. There are 2 threads here that I use daily to track weight and to keep myself accountable and on track...I'm posting them below in case you'd like to join in.
There are also groups for different weight ranges, like 'Getting out of the 240s' for example.

  • Thank you Angie. I am part of a group for getting out of the 230-220's. I am really looking for someone who would like a one on one accountability relationship too.
  • Me too!
I just joined the forum today. I need to get things under control and having accountability buddies who understand what you're going through is key.
My background: I have been overweight all of my life. With a family of unhealthy overeaters. I had been over 300 pounds at one point and lost 70 lbs after moving to a new city for school. This was the result of being in my 20s, having lots of free time to exercise a couple hours a day, not by eating well at all. 13 years ago at about 220 I lost 30lbs. I loved South Beach it was easy to follow with no counting calories but so healthy. I was able to keep it off for 3 years and then the weight slowly crept back. Health problems, stress and other factors have taken me back to 245lbs. I am so uncomfortable and I need to get under control. I would love it if you would take me on as a buddy
Looking forward to hearing from you
  • Hi Goldenma. It is so good to hear from you. Yes I need an accountability buddy. The daily post forums are great but I am looking more on someone to become close enough we can lose together. I more personal relationship to become good weightloss friends. My hubby is supportive. However need a girlfriend to share daily with.
We can make a one on one accountability thread for you and me. Even chat on FB chat, skype, even texting.
    So looking forwardto losing together.

    Blessings

  • That's what I'm looking for too.
My husband is also supportive, but has never had a problem with his weight and doesn't understand what I'm going through.
That is part of how I got back to this point. I've been eating with him, what he eats when he eats. It doesn't affect him but I have put on so much weight.
I have a few friends who are trying to lose weight but anytime we have been accountability buddies it hasn't worked. I think I need someone who I can't go out and sabotage my plan with.
I'm in Canada so probably FB chat would work best since I don't think I can text to a US number. send me a PM and we can get each other's details!
