Lets try this again

  • My name is Tia and I am 41 years old and live in Orange County, CA.

I currently weigh 237 and my goal weight is 190, I have been on my current diet since last Monday. I have been doing meal replacements for breakfast and lunch on the GNC lean shakes.

In the past I was successful at losing over a 100 pounds on the Atkins diet when I weighed over 300 pounds, put a lot of it back on though.

I have joined this group because I realized that I am not going to get the support that I need at home. This is something that is important to me, not to just lose the weight again but be successful at keeping it off.
  • Im trying this again as well
    Hey,

Congratulations on taking on this journey. You've been able to lose 100+ lbs already, so I have no doubts you'll be able to do it again.

I weigh 235 lbs and my goal weight is 180 lbs. Hope you get the support you need on this forum. I will need it as well, and Im starting with a 21 day challenge of not eating sweets + drinking at least of 1.5 liters of water per day.

Let's see how it goes. Good luck.
  • Welcome to both of you! Nano, your challenge is very similar to one I am doing. Maybe you'd like to join us here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...ood-habit.html for the support and a place to log your progress!

I am 204.0 this morning hoping to one day be 150, unless I reach my peak before then, I don't really know what will end up being ideal
  • welcome!
  • Thank you everyone I am very excited. One thing that I was able to keep with me since my last weight loss is that fact that I stopped drinking sodas, and now if I can just stop with the sweets I think I will be able to keep it off. They are always my downfall. Good luck to all of you also, we got this!

I am also in this and it is a great way to have a goal for only 3 weeks, (less than a whole month) and get support through it.
