alcohol points -- digestifs and apertifs

  • Actually, any one know where one could find the points for other types of alcohol too?

I'm interested in things like cynar, campari and other apertifs.

    thanks,

  • I found this off of http://www.annecollins.com/calories/

Campari (1.5 fl. oz) is 120 cal.

Since it is a spirit, I assume it has no fat or fiber ;-)
So the Points value would be... hmm, right between 2 and 3. Take your pick, or round off to 2.5 Points perhaps.

I couldn't find the value for Cynar (an artichoke-flavored apertif from Italy... interesting!)

Other alcohols I found in the WW Complete Food Companion, including gin, rum, scotch, tequila, whiskey, and vodka, were all 2 Points for 1.5 fl. oz (a jigger).

    Happy sipping!

  • mille grazie!

Cynar is a nice artichoke based digestif. Its quite lovely on its own or with a bit of soda. Its quite refreshing in the summer.

p.s. I love the berkshires. It must be lovely this time of year!
