I can not believe i am here again!!!

  • Hello ladies, I am 38 years old and married my soulmate a year ago before that I lost over 80lbs and since than gained 35 of them bad boys back . I feel so upset, depressed, and unattractive. My husband still looks at me with the same adoring eyes as he did when we 1st met, but I no longer feel like that young, vibrant, sexy, look at me chick i once was. I need this weight off asap. I won't lie I had fun putting it on. Trying new restaurants with the hubby, going out for drinks, mid night snacks and so on. My swift kick in the butt was when my family snapped photos of me and post them on social media which left me feeling like I wanted to hide under a rock. Funny when I was losing and lost weight there weren't any photos being snapped of me, but that was my eye opener. Lol it should have been my clothes didn't fit any longer or my body started to ache, but it wasn't. My revelation was all in a photo on social media. I'm here today 11/27/2016 starting my day one. Detox yesterday and nothing but fruits, vegetables, seeds, water, and protein moving forward. Determined. Breathe123
  • Well first thing I want to say Is WELCOME!!!

Also, take a picture just now, in your underwear and either keep it on your phone or in a folder somewhere on your Computer. This will be your before picture and something you can compare loss to.

Then if you haven't already, download My Fitness Pal.

Make yourself some reasonable and achievable goals, once you don't fit in clothing anymore, throw it out!!! Then treat yourself to new clothes instead of the the odd food treat.

Is your husband up for having a healthier diet? See this as the last time you will ever need to lose a large amount of weight and slowly take the time to learn about nutrition and exercise and bring it all in bit by bit. find out what calories you are eating just now, reduce it to a weight loss amount and start moving for at least 20 mins per day.

I hope that some of these help, if you have already gone this far, then I have even more
  • Me too
Could have written this post myself
  • It helped me a lot to realise that weight loss isn't something we do once and thats it, for most people who lose weight it won't just stay off, it will fluctuate.

Take this as chance to learn from your mistakes and when you get back down to your goal weight again you'll be able to plan how you can maintain and still enjoy a social life.
  • Welcome back. I believe once you're overweight, it becomes a lifelong issue. I have come and gone from this website many times. This year I'm looking to lose weight I've put on in the past few years. This is a great place for support and congratulations on taking the steps to get healthy once again.
