You ladies amaze me, I'm soo not ready to venture into an environment like that, I took my first step into a movie theatre the other day and it was hard, but I did super.

Work, work, work, it seems like all I do., another long day. On site visits, then meetings, then I'm going out with one of my clients to take him shopping for new paint and pictures for his room. He's just an amazing guy so that will be very enjoyable.
And just to round out the day dinner with friends, all of which are overweight. These dinners have become somewhat more stessful now, the dynamic has shifted, who knew that if you're fat you're not allowed to lose weight unless you friends do too? Oh well, I'll survive and eat my caesar salad.

My weight is doing weird things now. I've been sticking at one weight for about 6-9 days then it drops anywhere from 4-7 pounds in a day. Very odd and I'm not even eating much salt, maybe the exercise? who knows, but as long as the drops keep coming, this is me, not complaining

In laws are in for a week, kids are off with Papa and dad to play some kid golf this morning so MIL and I are going for a pedicure.

Then a few must do's today and then to the pool.

I will exercise later when I can watch TV. i have done 4 days in a row and starting to feel better even if the scale doesn't move

I have a few more ponds than I want to loose, it has gotten a little out of hand this summer. i am looking into the new WW flexpoints plan and may jump in next week when the kids go back to school. I am ready for the structure too!

BTW I saw in the daily on the WLS board that our Chick jiff is 15lbs to goal. An amazing, amazing journey we have been on with her and it makes me feel good for her that she is so close to goal...

This is the last day of summer for me. My dd is ready to go back to school and we have some travelling ahead of us. Get our obligitory (sp) visiting of the relatives in and we are set for another year!

Hubby and I have put together a (hopefully) wonderful marketing plan that will (hopefully again ) pay for 3-4 months rent at the beginning of next year. Once we are done travelling, we will start it up. We want to approach different daycares, schools and churches about doing a fundraiser with our store. We will give them a time frame to come in, they will tell us who they are shopping for, and proceeds of their purchases will go to the group they are supporting. We thought this would be a very easy way for, say a daycare to make a few extra $ without all the work involved, and still bring alot attention to the little shop thats competeing with the mall's and "marts"

Good Morning !

Could use some coffee. I've been waking up at 4:30 and can't seem to go back to sleep. I hope this is just a phase. I like sleeping until 5:30 and I miss that extra hour. I feel great, I'm not tired, I just don't like the idea of losing an hours sleep.

The first week of full school is going very well. The kids are learning the routine. (mostly) I found out yesterday that I'm getting a new student next week. this puts me back up to 15. A large class for special education, especially with the crew I have. Never a dull moment, I love it!!!

Yesterday a fellow teacher found out I was on Atkins. Her husband lost a lot of weight on the program and she lost weight doing various things. Today she brought me a Walk Away the Pounds tape, the Atkins cook book, and a Tofutti fudge bar (2 carbs) to try. What a sweetie. We don't even know each other that well. People can surprise you can't they?

Good morning all!! How wonderful of your new co-worker Karla. I have one of the Walk Away the Pounds tapes and I like it so far. It really helps that I can do that at home in the morning while the kids are still asleep. I haven't tried a Tofuttie bar. You'll have to post how it is.

Wow Tummy!! You are just melting away. I am hoping the exercising will speed me up on the scale too!

I have found that planning my day on Fitday.com has helped me keep things in control. I guess it's brutal on tallying things up correctly that I am not estimating or guessing anymore. I still seem to be eating about half of my 20 carbs in the evening. Would that be slowing down my weight loss? If anyone knows

We were running around today (DD got an updated presciption for school) and grinding through the housecleaning. My goal is to have eliminated the heaps of toys by the time they start school next Wed. After all, they need someplace new to start heaping the toys again.

I have a hair appt this afternoon and I'm leaving the kids with DH and spending a little time cruising the malls after the cut. I need a few new things for fall but can't get in to spending much on clothes I hope to shrink out of! I have been mostly OP this week, much better than the end of last week. I am losing about a pound a week but I'd really like to crank that up to 2 pounds/week! Of course, next week the kids go back to school and I go back to the gym - which should help!

Off to come up with ideas for lunch...

Turtle - I am averaging about 6-9 carbs a day myself. Are you counting net carbs or full carbs. I do net carbs and it would have been up to 11 carbs if I count the fiber... I wonder about that myself! I have had only one day in the last 3 weeks that I did 16 net carbs...

Karla - WHat a wonderful co-worker! Let us know how you like the toffutie bar!

Tummy - I work that way too.. or at least I did when I was doing WW. I would go for a week some times 2 with out a loss and then whamm 7 or 8 pounds gone. I am trying to watch my salt intake too. And just started back to my exercise again this week!

Robin - What kind of store do you have? I am curious! My dream is to open my own yarn store some day!

OMG - I just finished eating this fantabulous scrambled eggs with spinach, mozzerella cheese and only 1 tbsp of crumbled bacon. It was so good! I could do this every day!

now that I am on my 4th week, can I up my intake of veggies to get more carbs in? I mentioned my average above... should I increase?

Ok.. off to get dressed and ready to go to the gym!

Robin, you may have told us in a previous post but I don't understand why you have to meet up with your ex on a regular basis. It sounds very stressful, especially if his new squeeze is with him. Yuck. Who needs that?
Tummy, good for you. I wouldn't care how the weight went off as long as it came off in nice big chunks like that. WOW!

Yesterday I ordered the Body Flex system from the Shopping Channel. I was talking to a pal on the phone and after years of hovering around 300 lb, she has finally lost 30 in the past few months and she attributes it to the addition of doing the Body Flex system. SHe says the loss of inches is amazing. She has always found exercise to be very painful due to chronic back and knee pain but she says you can do these exercises sitting on the sofa. That's my kind of workout! It was the first time I've ordered something on-line but I'm too cheap to have it come by express so I have to wait a few weeks for postal delivery. Somebody else in this forum was doing Body Flex but can't remember who. Was it AddoAnnie? It looks to me like it's just a long rubber band but we will see.

Linda, only because we have shared custody. My dd isnt old enough yet to make arrangements on her own with me. So unfortunately I still have to deal with him. But on the plus side, its only a few times a year I actually have to see him. Most of the time, I get away with picking her up at daycare and school events and we only converse via emails
