Maintainers Weekly Chat August 22 - August 28

  • Exercise was chasing after my 11 month old DGD last night. Wish I had that much energy per pound. She stands up by simply rotating one foot down and standing, usually while doing something else at the same time. Standing gracefully from a sitting position remains a dream of mine.
  • Nice exercise, Bill. What a darling DGD is!
  • How fun, Bill! I look forward to those days!

Busy, busy day at work so just a flyby! But I'm thinking about 3FC and you all and what I need to focus on this week. Will check back in soon, hopefuly.
  • Four more days here and then the departure day, when I take my stuff home but continue to walk/feed everyone 'til my clients get home.

Haven't even bothered to think about what I'm eating. I'll get back into healthy fresh food prep when I have a clean kitchen again.

  • Checking in a day late. We were on the road most of the day yesterday. Glad to be home, but boy do I have a bunch of problems at work. Thankfully it appears they'll all be fixed by tomorrow.
  • Waving to all as I pack to head off to Iceland for twelve days.

My plan is to live on my SmartPhone with no other computer. I feel a tad naked, LOL. So I won't be starting the weekly thread from the volcanoes of Iceland.
  • Have a great time, Bill! It will be so interesting!

Random, possibly useful info: Iceland noir is part of Scandinavian noir crime fiction. I could also go on about fishing (cod and other) but I think I'd better leave it there.

Dagmar, have you made it home yet? Are you in reasonable shape?
  • Iceland!! On my bucket list. We've already bought the travel books. How exciting.
  • Have a wonderful time, Bill! I'd like to visit there some day.
  • Enjoy Iceland Bill.

I am back and enjoying the comforts of home. Just got my hair trimmed and am about to take a nap. Then possibly a little more gardening and a freshly-cooked dinner. Ahh the excitement!
