Restarting my weight loss journey with new goals in mind!

  • Hello, my name is Sherry and this is my story.

    So, a few years ago I was 200 lbs. and I started to lose weight. I lost 30lbs. and was down to 170 lbs. But I had started a new job and gained it all back and soon after I got pregnant and gained 40lbs. So I am currently 240 lbs. I plan on trying to lose 100 lbs. It seems like such a big number, but i need to do this for my health and confidence. I wanna feel sexy again!

    If you have any tips or advice it is very welcome. Looking to make friends and learn how to do this thing since I'm really not sure what I'm doing.

    Looks like you already have a good idea what works for you with your awesome 30lb loss. But baby steps are important. You don't want to jump in too quick and burn yourself out.

    Congrats on seeing the end result goal. Everyone has thier own method on how to reach that goal. Im losing 100 too. Trying for 40 by dec 21st. But even if I dont make it to 40 I'll try and get close. So you see its about going toward your goal,and if you don't reach it you got closer. So find a smaller goal to reach. A lower #or a dress you use to wear. Maybe even a play as a reward by a certain date. Whatever you do you'll do great.

    Actually, what kinds made me want to lose weight was when I tried putting on a dress last weekend that I used to love and when I put it on I looked 5 months pregnant... It's part of why I knew I needed change. So that's my goal. It fit perfect when I was 200 lbs. So I'm gonna make that my mini goal for now. Lol
