Hey!
I'm Brittany, I'm a 27 year old mom of one and my lifelong struggle with weight is finally something I can't accept anymore. The thought of leaving this world much too young because of my weight and leaving my daughter behind makes me sick to my stomach. I want to change, I want to lose weight and I want to be healthy. By no means do I want to be 95lbs but I do want to lose weight to give my daughter the mom she deserves.
I weigh 258 lbs and I need to be around 180lbs (give or take 5 lbs). I have absolutely no idea how to do it; I feel overwhelmed and lost. I was raised in a "fat family" so carbs, nutrients and fats were never something I was properly educated on.
I do not have a support base or anyone in my life who understands what I want to do.
It's great to "meet" everyone!

Drink lots of water. Start walking. It doesn't have to be all scary science and passing out in the gym. Baby steps will get you there. Then as you progress you can branch out and learn more about the science. Good luck!
