  • I usually have a rotisserie chicken in the refrigerator with the makings for a salad. I make my own dressing through combining olive oil and balsamic vinegar so I have those in the pantry. For simple high protein snacks I like Kay's Protein Snacks in individual bags (3 SP each). I keep cans of black beans and some frozen already cooked brown rice that I can thaw easily. I like some whole grain low calorie tortillas - usually La Tortilla bread and I buy some Flatout Bread to make wraps or home made pizzas. I order Quest bars from Amazon (much cheaper than grocery store) and keep those in the pantry. I keep some fresh eggs and some frozen veggies. I like to make frittatas with the eggs and veggies. Also small pouchs of tuna and wild salmon. The tuna I use with lowfat mayo and eggs to make tuna salad and the salmon I use to make salmon cakes or put in salads. I grind up oats as "bread crumbs" for the salmon cakes.
  • i always have tins of beans/pulses in water, some cans of tomatos in their own juice, couscous, rice, brown pasta, tins of tuna, lots of different dried herbs and spices, balsamic vinegar, 2 cal spray oil, porridge, honey,
