I like the fact that this one narrows it down to what we really need and nothing else. The "authority" says there is no evidence that we need grains at all. No portion measuring is needed, just eat a big serving of meat, fish, or poultry with a ton of vegetables at every meal. Salads can be huge with lashings of oily dressing and you can eat the whole bag of steamed vegetables with a big glop of butter.

I like the idea of emptying my kitchen of everything else, filling it with fresh vegs, filling the freezer with bags of frozen vegetables and lots of steaks, chicken breasts, and fish fillets. Then knowing there's nothing in my kitchen that I can't eat.

    Has anyone tried this?
  • High protein
I eat high protein, low carb. I don't have to count calories which is nice. I just eat a ton if veggies and protein. I also walk 3 to 4 miles about 4 times a week.I've lost 23 pounds so far. Good luck
