Tops calorie counting tales....

  • I have lost just over 2 stone ( 28lbs) by doing slimming world.

    I have lost weight before doing Silly 500 cal a day diets. This time I am eating lots of cals as I want to have the energy to play with my 4 year old.

    I need to read up a bit more on here about how many cals I should be having.

    I am aiming for 1600-1800 a day at the mo

  • Good Luck Tops! Wow 500 calories a day is really tough!! I'm learning the hard way that snacks with protein helps a lot.. cheese sticks, protein shakes, nuts. Use a calorie counter app, it has a lot of items on it. sometimes i use it to plan my meals for the day, especially the weekend.
  • I think I was at peak weight loss mode while eating 1600 - 1800 cals, cycling to a from work daily and getting a few runs in per week. It tought me a lot about how I react to different foods!
    500 cals/day is DEFINITELY not for me! I can't imagine that!
