I have been a soda fanatic and it has gotten worse and worse. Basically, I would drink about three 48 ounce sodas a day (130 carbs each). I also ate junk food, fast food, and starches with every meal.
Since stopping soda is had for me to stick with, i would really love any encouraging comments or stories - especially from people who have given up soda and lost weight. I have been doing this a week and so far my pants are definitely looser. But I don't have a scale at the moment. I did get weighed at the doctor a couple of weeks ago and go back in two months. I want to see how much i can lose by then.
Anyone lost a lot by giving up soda? I have upped my protein and fat and lowered carbs in my food as well. I am not eating any grain, rice, potatoes, etc. Getting carbs only from vegetables. Eating a lot of eggs and chicken.
Can anyone give me any success stories or encouragement?
Thank you!
