Sorry to bother you. Am a newbie. Also work from a tablet, so that probably doesn't help.

I can't, for the life of me, find anywhere to create a signature and ticker!
Went to the Help bit, and read the instructions, but I still can't see any prompts for it. Started my Diet today, so really wanted to do this.

Also, am unable to hear or see if I have any replies to my threads.

Any advice would be welcome.

First of all there is a 20-day waiting period before you can add a signature to your posts (i believe this was implemented because it was abused).

The good news is that doesn't mean you can't make a ticker! Just that you will have to wait a couple of weeks to add it to your signature here. Tickers are made on a separate website, there are two common options from what I can see:

http://lilyslim.com/

Both very similar, Lilyslim also generates charts and graphs to see your progress! You will be given a code that you can use to paste into your signature when it becomes available. Make sure you bookmark the page once you've made your ticker so that you can update it and stuff! (it will prompt you for a pin number of your choosing).

As far as replies and threads go I still struggle with this (mostly through laziness ) There are several ways you can go though. I'm not sure how it works on a tablet (I have used both the full site and the mobile site but i'm not sure which a tablet uses!) but there should be a way for you to subscribe to a thread (for me its under Thread Tools at the top of the first post). Once you are subscribed to a thread you will get updates to it through your user control panel (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/usercp.php). You can also change a setting so that you are emailed when new replies come through (but I can't find it at the moment, give me a sec!).

When I originally signed up, I set it up so I would get an email every time someone replied to one of my threads. Eventually, that became too overwhelming and I stopped that. Now I just go into my profile and check my subscriptions.

I use the tablet as I would my PC, so I see it in the same layout I think...just that everything is tiny!!!!

Have used the tickerfactory before...again, on ********, but that other site might be better. The more details the better I guess! Lol
