Non-scale related victories and goals!

  • Alright, so we all know that scale/number related losses are possibly one of the greatest things in the whole-wide world when you're trying to lose weight...but what I want to know is, what have been some of the greatest moments you've experienced and what are your goals that AREN'T scale-related?

For instance: the first time I seriously lost weight, about 40lbs, it was the best feeling in the whole world to see my upper arm muscles start to poke through during cardio kickboxing! I felt strong for the first time in forever.

My non-scale related goals: to run a mile without walking, to wear high heels again, to do a 5k, to feel that same kind of strong again!

What are your goals and what have been some of your favorite weight loss moments?
  • I think my biggest non-scale victory was the time my mom had brought me some jeans she got on clearance. They were size 10s and they fit. I had never been smaller than a 14 so to fit into a 10 was like wow. My next goal is to look better in a dress I bought back in October. I could probably pull it off now with shapewear, but I don't want to wear any.
