  • Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
    This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

    Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.
  • Slowly getting dry after falling in at the end of our last leg.

    My goals for this leg:
    1. Eat healthy. No donuts, fried food, pizza.
    2. Add a bit of exercise each day.
    3. Be able to say, "I'm proud of how I got through today", at the end of each day.

    I will get my water in everyday.
  • Staying dry. Sticking to my goals.

    I lost 1 lb this week!

  • Staying dry. Rowing hard trying to stay ahead of cold, lake effect snow.
    I shoveled the boat deck a while ago. Now it's a skating rink.

    My weight is what is up.
    I am really having trouble committing.
    Hang in there. I still can see the boat from the chunk of ice I am clinging to.
  • Still shoveling here. Staying dry cause I'm staying inside.

    Grab the life ring and I'll tow you to the boat. Watch the ladder as you climb in it's icy.
  • Can i hop in the boat too? Its looking rather stormy in diet world.. I feel so discouraged about not losing a pound today. I feel like im barely hanging on.

    My goals for the next 10 days:
    1) stay under 20 net carbs
    2) stay under 1500 cals
    3) exercise at least 3 times

    Better get swimming to the nearest boat before i sink!

    We are on our way to the dock to pick up supplies so some time tomorrow we'll be starting a new leg. You might want to move your goals over when I get it changed.
