Hello I am over 400 pounds scale only goes to 400 and I get error on it. Last week I started noticing my blood pressure go through the room when I walk up my stairs, it comes right down to normal. I was on bp meds 2 years ago and list 50 pounds stopped taking the pills now 2 years later 100 pounds heavier high bp is back but only on stairs as I have noticed so far. I was wondering if any members my weight bp goes through the roof when going up stairs my pulse only gets in 90s bp goes 180s/100s then I sit for 2 minutes back to 130s/80s. Thanks

BP should be taken while resting! Not immediately after moving!
I used to have high BP at 281lbs and was on medication.
Now I am 175lbs, I no longer take meds but still keep an eye on my BP. At rest I still get high figures but not enough to go on meds. Similar to your sitting BP. If at rest you go over 140/90, time to see the doc.
