Starting my diet today

  • I've been preparing for this day for a couple weeks now and am beginning yet another diet. I hope that this will be my last one and that I can eat sensibly from now on. I've given up bread, potatoes, peanut butter and all deserts, plus I'll be eating smaller portions. I hope to get down from 151.5 to 129 no matter what it takes. My clothes don't fit and my feet and knees hurt. I do have physical conditions such as arthritis and others, so losing weight will help. It'll be great to carry around less weight. I've done it before I can do it again. For lunch I'll have a salad and low caloric protein bar and for dinner a small portion of meat and vegetables.

    I need all the support I can get. Thanks so much.

  • Good for you Theresa! You've got to find the way that works for you and if protein bars and salads are it, then go for it.
