I got back Saturday night from a very fun week at the shore, and yesterday was busy with unpacking, laundry, and getting groceries. Now, back to the real world, lol!

Good morning. Welcome back, Linda - you were missed. Debbie, Energizer Bunny, enjoy your day at work as much as possible.

Spent a frustrating day yesterday - finding and blocking Jazz's escape route, struggling to do a financial report with a screwed up excel programme and giving my Keurig a vinegar enema! Was planning a relaxed evening with a DVD but the TV is not working. There's always "something", isn't there?

This morning, after I get the fin report re-done, I have a Mill Board meeting - mainly to firm up the planning for two big events - a music and dinner evening at the Town Hall this Friday and the Harvest Festival October 3. After that last event, I am going away for 4 or 5 days of fun and relaxation.

The weather is looking great for the next two weeks - above normal highs (70ºF is my happy temperature) and cool nights for sleeping. We've had a gorgeous September.

Gotta jet and see if I can fix and print that report in the next two hours - Oh, yes, I need to get dressed too!

YAY! Cottage is back!! We missed you, and hope you had a ton of fun .

Today is busy enough - I'm meeting a friend for breakfast - she is going through radiation therapy for breast cancer. She is one of three special friends that have been diagnosed in the last few months. I'll need to get groceries, then to the library. The library says I have a book overdue, but I'm pretty sure I turned it in weeks ago.... (I have no clue where it's at if I didn't....)

Shoot, guess that means that I have to figure that menu out...

Enjoyed a beautiful ride yesterday. The bridge over the Hudson River was very windy. Lots of people were out enjoying the day. Today I will ride again and just run around getting ready for the week. I am going to resist taco bake today.

It's nice wearing my copy robe in the morning again. Enjoying fall like weather here.

I'm off to the gym soon. Then I work this afternoon. Finally a shift when I'll be off before dinner! Last night we had a work meeting and I managed to resist all the yummy treats that my manager brought. But I have to admit that part of that short willpower burst has to do with what I know I'll be eating later this week!

This day is slipping by rather quickly. I am doing a wfh day today as I need to pack for conference tomorrow. Looking forward to a trip out of town and this time we are going to Cape Cod so should be fun. I am pulling DD2 out of school for this one. She is getting all of her work today so I am sure we have a very full backpack to take with us on the trip. We won't be home until late on Saturday evening. At least we have direct flights to Boston so shouldn't be too bad.

Welcome back to Cottage, and I hope everyone's day is going smoothly.

Didn't make it here this morning; I had to leave a few minutes early for work so I could stop and get a bucket of water at my favorite stagnant pond. It was "look at microscopic life" day today in my class. You know it's a success when you hear someone squeal "it's moving!!"

Other than that our summer-like weather has broken and we are in for sunny but cool. I'm not sure it hit 70* today, quite a change from last week.

Off to exercise. I'm hoping to meet my Sept WL goal.
