Hi, I was wondering what others use to spiral their zucchini. I have a veggeti and while it worked for awhile the newness of it has worn off and I am looking for something a bit nicer and wastes less. I do chop up the ends and use them so it doesn't go to waste but would like to get more spirals from my zucchini.
What do others use and where did you buy it?

I use a julienne peeler. It is just hand-held.
On the last episode of "Food Network Star", one of the chefs just used a regular peeler. It made noodles a bit wider but still looked good!

Still a lot of waste but if you read through the Amazon comments there are some really good ideas about what to do with the "leftovers."

Thank you for your suggestion Lisa. That made me remember that I had a julienne peeler as one of my kitchen gadgets. That will be a good reminder for a quick zucchini noodle lunch.

Thank you for the link. I was looking at that on You Tube. I went to BB and B and they had the Veggeti Pro among others. It looks exactly like the Paderno except the V pro has green trim. I went with that at 24.99 plus my coupon. Tried it last night and it made a lot in no time. My husband and son had zucchini noodles for the first time last night along with the roasted red pepper purée (added beef for a meat sauce). They both loved it. DH suggested he would be happy with zucchini noodles 3 out of 4 times. DS is a total convert and couldn't believe it wasn't tomatoe sauce.

I use the Vegetti pro I can get three different shapes and it works great. Found it at freddies for $25.
