Well, when I finished the school year at the end of May, I decided to work on some lifestyle changes. It took me a couple of weeks and a health issue to really get serious though. I've cut out sodas (totally) and sugar (mostly), and I try each day to make healthy food choices. I've lost about 5 lbs in 6 weeks and about 5 inches. But what really excited me happened when I went into my favorite clothes store. I grabbed a skirt off the clearance rack to try on, thinking it would be an "incentive" piece, since it was two sizes smaller than the last skirt I bought. It fit! I did a happy dance in the dressing room.
Quitting sugar is the magic key that will help weight loss feel much easier. It's hard to achieve but the benefits are so worth it!
