she went in a little later than planned. everything's ok. in recovery until about 2, and then to the ward, assuming there's a bed there for her [or she might have to wait...

and i'll report more after i see her this evening.

more update: not needing the morphine pump very much, but she still has anesthesia in her system, so it's tomorrow. she's very very sleepy, and napped well

apparently, she had to wait for a couple of hours before going in, and her surgeon said that she was a textbook case. not a single glitch.

her nurse's aide this evening was a sweet young boy. very helpful. she got up to use the bathroom twice while i was there, and we went for a spin around the hall. and then back to bed.

her spirits are great... she sends big hugs to everyone. and she should be home on wednesday.

the only problem: she can't drink anything and she's very thirsty.other than that.. everything is just fine.

Thanks for the update, Jif - now I can go to bed and not be tossing/turning worrying about our Peachie.
