Hi all, so I need some advice and/or encouragement! About 5 weeks ago I began my weight loss journey. I want to lose about 30 lbs. I started doing cardio at least 5 days a week burning about 400-500 calories a session (I have a heart rate monitor), incorporated resistance bands 3 weeks ago, and I am eating healthy. I eat low carb/low sugar only getting these things from vegetables and limited fruit. I also incorporate healthy fats into my diet and protein. I log all of my calories each day in an app and stay below my 1200 calories a day goal.
The first couple of weeks, I lost 10 lbs. So I was really happy. Then my TOM came and i did not lose anymore, in fact I gained a couple of pounds back but I figured it was water weight. TOM ended and it has been 2 weeks and I have not lost anymore weight beyond the initial 10 lbs. I have been doing the same things as before with exercising and diet. I weigh myself at the same time every morning before I eat or drink anything and it will not drop below this one point.
I am so discouraged and losing my motivation. I workout but I am not mentally in it anymore and I'm getting kind of depressed everyday because I feel like I am trying hard and eating healthy and I do not understand why the scale is not moving. I do notice my pants are not as tight and I can see the difference from the 10 lbs loss, but its a small difference and I don't understand why I am not continuing to lose. With all of the cardio I'm doing, I should be losing fat, not just building muscle mass. Can anyone help me understand what I might be doing wrong???

. Be proud of your 10. #s loss!
