Hello, I'm new to using forums like this and hope that it may help me to properly lose weight! I am 22 and have been watching my intake with MyFitnessPal and have lost 5 pounds so far using it. I am currently 235lbs and my goal is 135lbs.
I have been overweight since I was about 9 years old, my grandma would put me on fad diets like slim-fast shakes, isogenix, cleanses, etc... every summer when I went to visit. When I got home from summer vacation after quickly losing weight, my mom would continue feeding me pizza pops and dollar menu fast food and I'd gain all the weight back and then some.
Now that I'm living on my own with a steady income, I have a say in what I eat and am trying to eat better and exercise more. I am optimistic, but also worried about some things. My biggest worry is being left with saggy, wrinkly skin once I lose a certain amount of weight. I'm also having trouble finding good healthy dinners to eat because its only been 2 weeks and I am getting really tired of chicken breast and salad.
Anyways, I've rambled a bit...I hope being a part of this forum will tip the scales in my favour!
